Wanderpack is designed with your privacy as a priority. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data on our servers. Your packing lists, trip details, and preferences stay entirely on your device (or in your personal iCloud account if you choose iCloud sync).
All data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service. We have no access to your iCloud data.
Wanderpack uses your device's location services solely to geocode trip destinations for weather forecasts. Location data is sent directly to Apple's geocoding service and Open-Meteo's weather API. We do not store, log, or transmit your location to any other service.
Weather forecasts are fetched from Open-Meteo, a free and open-source weather API. Only geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) of your trip destination are sent to this service. No personal information is included.
Destination photos are provided by Pexels. Only the destination name is sent to the Pexels API to retrieve relevant photos. No personal information is shared.
Wanderpack uses local notifications to remind you about upcoming trips. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device and do not involve any external server.
Wanderpack does not knowingly collect any data from children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data from any user, no special provisions are necessary.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
